Terms of Service
Effective date: October 28, 2026
Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Raden app, accounts, browser and recording sync, cloud video services, native and hosted players, website and related services (the "Services"). They are an agreement between you and Interlace Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Raden ("Raden," "we," "us"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Raden is offered for use in the United States. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to agree on its behalf. You may not use the Services where prohibited by applicable law or sanctions.
These Terms apply when you expressly accept them through the Services. The app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. These service Terms do not replace that app license.
Using Raden and your account
You can browse, record, save videos in Raden and watch available local recordings without an account. Sign-in is required for cloud sync, hosted sharing and exporting video files. The current service is free, with no advertising or subscriptions. We will disclose pricing and any separate purchase terms before introducing a paid service.
Sign in using Apple or Google. Keep the information you provide accurate, protect your provider account and device, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Do not impersonate someone, sell or transfer account access without our permission, or create accounts to evade a suspension.
You can connect an additional available sign-in method to your account by authenticating with that provider. Doing so does not combine two existing Raden accounts or transfer their videos. The providers' own terms apply to their sign-in services.
Your videos, sync and exports
When you sign in and authorize cloud processing, recordings saved without an account are added to your account as Private and uploaded automatically, including earlier saves. When you are signed in and have authorized uploads, saving a finished video begins uploading and processing it, including if it is Private. Saved videos and later edits sync when an internet connection is available.
Account sync includes tabs, browsing history, supported website addresses and search queries, saved links, recordings and edits. This may include browsing information and recordings saved on your device before you signed in. Private Browsing tabs and history, website cookies, passwords, passkeys and website storage are excluded from Raden sync. Syncing your content does not make it public.
To export a video file, you must sign in, authorize video processing and grant the required photo library permission. The video must meet our visual safety screening requirements, and Raden verifies your access before completing the export. Internet access is required. These conditions apply to all export formats, Private videos and originals already stored on your device. Exporting may require upload to cloud storage and processing by our video service provider. It does not publish a video or create a public link. These conditions do not limit your statutory access or privacy rights.
Sync, uploads, captions, playback preparation and screening may be delayed, interrupted or unsuccessful. Saving content on a device does not guarantee a completed cloud backup or availability on another device. Keep independent copies of important content.
Your content and our limited license
You retain the rights you hold in your recordings, edits, descriptions, captions and other material you provide ("Your Content"). You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, process, export and share it, including permissions relating to websites, music, voices, people and private communications. A publicly accessible webpage is not, by itself, permission to copy or redistribute it.
You give Raden a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process, transcode, create thumbnails and captions, screen, transmit and display Your Content as needed to operate and secure the Services, carry out your instructions and settings, investigate reports and comply with law. We may authorize service providers to perform those tasks for us. Creating a public link also authorizes delivery of the video and its preview to recipients and preview services.
This license does not transfer ownership, authorize advertising use of Private videos, or give Raden a general-purpose AI training license. Provider processing is described in the Privacy Policy. The license ends when the content is permanently removed, except as needed for limited retained records and completed sharing described there. Copies independently obtained by others remain outside our control.
Raden and its licensors retain rights in the app, software, designs and service materials. Your content rights do not transfer ownership of those materials.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to make or distribute unlawful recordings; exploit or abuse children; distribute nonconsensual intimate imagery or sexual deepfakes; threaten, harass, defraud or expose someone's private information; or infringe copyright, privacy or other rights. Obtain required consent before recording other people or private communications.
Do not introduce malware, steal credentials, access accounts without permission, bypass privacy or access controls, manipulate safety checks, or disrupt the Services. Do not scrape private or access-protected content or abuse automated requests. These restrictions do not limit conduct that applicable law protects or good-faith security work performed with permission.
If you promote a product or business in content you share, you are responsible for any disclosures and permissions required by law. Raden does not grant rights to third-party music, brands or website material.
Screening, reports and restrictions
Cloud video processing includes automated visual screening for sexual and violent imagery. It can apply to Private videos and videos prepared for export. Screening can make mistakes and does not review every kind of harmful content or determine whether you have recording or copyright permission. Saving a video locally is not approval to host or distribute it.
We may restrict processing or playback, remove content, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, infringement, a safety or security risk, or a legal requirement. Public sharing and video exports remain unavailable until a video meets the screening requirements. A flagged video may remain privately available to its owner without sharing or export, subject to any separate content or account restriction.
Report harmful content, privacy violations or copyright concerns to support@radenapp.com. For a restriction you believe is mistaken, contact support@radenapp.com.
We may ask for details needed to investigate, preserve relevant evidence or contact authorities where required or appropriate. Any notice or review rights required by applicable law remain available. Do not submit knowingly false reports or retaliate against a reporter.
Copyright
We respect the rights of copyright owners. If you believe material on the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to Copyright Agent, Interlace Industries, Inc., at support@radenapp.com, or by mail to 169 Madison Ave, Suite 83899, New York, NY 10016, United States, Attention: Copyright Agent.
Copyright notices. Your notice should include: (1) your physical or electronic signature as the owner or an authorized representative; (2) identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works; (3) identification of the material you want removed and enough information to locate it, such as the Raden video link; (4) your address, telephone number and email address, if available; (5) a statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
We respond to notices that substantially comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by expeditiously removing or disabling access to the identified material. We take reasonable steps to promptly notify the uploader and may provide them with the notice. A copyright notice is an allegation, not a court determination of infringement.
Counter-notices. If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to the same Copyright Agent. Include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and its previous location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the removal or restriction resulted from mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number. You must also consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located, or, if you live outside the United States, a federal district court where Raden may be found, and agree to accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a counter-notice that substantially complies with the DMCA, we promptly send a copy to the original complainant and inform them that access will be restored in 10 business days. Under the DMCA process, we restore the material or cease disabling access no earlier than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, unless our Copyright Agent first receives notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. Separate restrictions based on privacy settings, safety or other grounds remain subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Repeat infringement and false notices. We terminate accounts in appropriate circumstances for repeat copyright infringement. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may result in liability under the DMCA. Consider seeking legal advice if you are unsure whether a notice or counter-notice is appropriate.
Logging out, deletion and ending access
You may stop using the Services at any time. Logging out stops new sync, video uploads and AI processing requests from that device. Local account browser records, recordings and edits remain available when you next sign in to that account. Logout does not delete the cloud account, recall completed transfers or sign out other devices. Withdrawal of processing permission may remain pending until the service receives the request.
You can deactivate or delete your account through the app's account settings. Deactivation blocks access while retaining content for reactivation. Once we accept an account deletion request, we block access and begin removing the account and its content. Removal may take time if transfers or processing are incomplete.
Deleted videos normally remain recoverable for 30 days unless you request permanent deletion sooner. Once accepted by the service, deletion revokes existing public links. Permanent deletion ends recovery, although removal of stored files may take longer. The Privacy Policy explains deletion timing, limited retention exceptions and the treatment of local copies.
Keep copies of important content before permanent deletion or uninstalling. Uninstalling does not delete the cloud account. Account deletion includes account-synced browser records, recordings and edits, but does not erase unrelated guest browser data, independent website sessions or storage, exports, recipients' copies or third-party caches. Contact support if you cannot access the account to request deletion.
We may end access for serious or repeated violations or where continuing service creates a legal, safety or security risk, subject to applicable law. We need not provide access to unlawful content or another person's information. Terms concerning ownership, retained uses, liability, disputes and accrued rights continue where necessary after access ends.
Websites and other services
Websites you visit, sign-in providers and other independent services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, transactions or availability. Private Browsing does not guarantee anonymity. Use appropriate judgment before recording, sharing or acting on website content.
Captions and automated results may be inaccurate. Review them before relying on or sharing them. Device capabilities, permissions, network conditions and provider availability can affect features. We may apply reasonable storage, upload and usage limits, subject to applicable law.
Service and Terms changes
We may change, limit or discontinue features, subject to applicable law.
We will identify the effective date of updated Terms and provide notice or request renewed agreement where required by applicable law. Changes do not retroactively authorize new uses of Private content or remove rights that have already accrued. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the affected Services.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate captions, complete screening, permanent storage or permission to record a particular person or webpage. This does not exclude express commitments in these Terms or guarantees that the law does not allow us to exclude.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Raden will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to the Services, even if Raden has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Raden's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid to Raden for the affected Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Disputes and general terms
New York law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules and subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Unless the law requires another forum, disputes may be brought in state or federal courts in New York County, New York. Either party may use a small-claims court with jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.
You may contact support@radenapp.com to try to resolve a dispute informally. Doing so is not a condition for exercising a statutory right and does not shorten a legal deadline.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent except where the law permits; we may assign them in a legitimate business transaction without reducing your applicable rights. These Terms are the agreement for the Services, alongside any applicable App Store license.
