Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

About this policy

Interlace Industries, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Raden ("Raden," "we," "us"), provides the Raden app, website, hosted video player and related account and support services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information through those services. It does not cover independent websites you visit in the browser or services you use outside Raden.

Raden is offered to adults aged 18 and older in the United States. The service is free and has no advertising or subscriptions. You can browse, record, save videos in the app and watch available local recordings without an account. An account is required for cloud sync, hosted sharing and exporting video files.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your provider identifier, email address and verification status, and the name or profile image the provider makes available. Apple may supply a private relay address through Hide My Email; Google may supply a profile photo. We also keep your profile settings, sign-in methods, account status and session records. We do not receive your Apple or Google password or gain access to your email inbox, contacts or cloud files through sign-in.

Videos and related information. Videos can contain webpages, camera images, speech and anything else visible in the recording area. Associated information can include a cover image, duration, description, captions and edits, the titles and addresses of recorded websites, and privacy settings. We receive this material when an account feature uploads it, as described below. Recordings may contain information about you or other people, including sensitive information.

Browser and recording information. Account sync stores browsing tabs, history, website addresses and titles, dates, saved links, and search queries retained in those addresses. Saved recordings can include source video and audio, previews, thumbnails and edits needed to resume a recording. These records are associated with your account.

Blocking preferences. We keep records of accounts you block, including account identifiers, display names and the date of the block, to apply your choices and let you manage them.

Technical information. Our hosting, account and video services receive IP addresses, request times, device and software information, account and video identifiers, errors and playback performance data. The section on playback and cookies explains this collection in more detail.

Information you send us. We receive your contact details and the information you provide when you contact us for support, report content, or submit copyright notices, privacy requests or appeals.

Browsing and information on your device

Without account sync, tabs, browsing history and saved links remain on your device. When you sign in with sync authorized, tabs, history, saved links and search queries contained in supported website addresses sync to your account. This may include browsing information saved on your device before you signed in. Private Browsing tabs and history are not synced. Review this information before signing in on a shared device.

Browser sync does not copy website cookies, passwords, passkeys, form contents or website storage. Your device's password manager and backup services operate under their own settings and policies.

When you visit a website, your device connects to that website and its providers. They can receive your IP address and use their own cookies, storage and permissions under their policies. Private Browsing uses separate browser storage and limits Raden's browsing-history retention. It does not conceal your IP address, make you anonymous or prevent a website from receiving information you submit. A recording made in Private Browsing is still subject to the video processing and sharing choices described in this policy.

Recordings may capture sensitive information visible on your screen or audible through your microphone. Recording restrictions do not guarantee that all sensitive information will be excluded.

Saving, syncing and exporting videos

Without an account, saved recordings and edits remain on your device. When you sign in and authorize uploads, recordings saved without an account are added to your account as Private and uploaded automatically. This can include recordings saved for later editing.

When you are signed in and have authorized uploads, saving a finished video begins uploading and processing it, including if it is Private. Saved account videos and changes to their descriptions, captions and privacy settings sync when an internet connection is available.

We use cloud storage and video processing services to store uploaded videos and account records, prepare playback versions and thumbnails, generate captions when needed, and screen videos for sexual or violent imagery. These services also process Private videos. Uploading a video does not publish it or create a share link.

Recordings saved for later editing, including their source files and edits, can sync to private account storage so you can resume them. Syncing these recordings does not itself make them public or start cloud captioning or safety screening. Recordings that have not been saved are not synced.

Exporting a video file to your device's photo library requires an account, authorization for video processing and photo library permission. The video must meet our visual safety screening requirements, and Raden verifies your access before completing the export. Internet access is required, even if the original is already on your device. These requirements apply to every export format and to Private videos. Exporting may require upload and processing first; it does not change the video's privacy or create a public link.

Videos may be unavailable while upload and processing are in progress. A video flagged by screening may remain privately available to its owner while sharing and exports are restricted.

Information saved on one device becomes available on another only after the necessary transfers complete. Sync and backups may be delayed or interrupted, including while the app is not running. Keep independent copies of important recordings.

Captions and visual safety screening

Raden attempts to generate captions on your device, including before you save a video and while you are logged out. This on-device processing does not upload the recording. Captions may be unavailable or inaccurate.

If on-device transcription does not produce usable captions, our video processing provider may generate them from uploaded audio after visual screening. Hiding captions changes their display; it does not stop transcription or delete stored captions. Captions, edits and display preferences may sync with the video.

We use AI-based visual screening to examine selected video frames for sexual or violent imagery. Screening applies to uploaded videos, including Private videos. It does not analyze speech, descriptions or captions, determine copyright ownership, or establish that a recording is lawful. We retain screening outcomes and related processing records to enforce restrictions and investigate errors. We do not use facial recognition or voiceprints to identify people.

Videos must pass visual safety screening before public sharing or export, subject to account access and privacy restrictions. These features may be unavailable while screening is in progress, if processing fails, or if screening identifies restricted material. A flagged video may remain privately available to its owner, subject to any separate content or account restriction. You may contact support@radenapp.com to request review.

Raden does not use your recordings to train its own general-purpose AI model. The Service providers section describes the video provider's separate terms for model improvement and retention.

Sharing and video privacy

Raden lets you share videos through links viewable in the app or on the web. A link provides access to that video, not to your other recordings. Public videos can be watched without an account by anyone with a working link, subject to current privacy, screening and access restrictions. A Private profile prevents public viewing even if an individual video is marked Public. Private videos are available only to their authenticated owner.

Creating a public link is separate from saving or syncing a video or choosing its privacy setting. Recipients can forward the link or make copies of the video. Shared videos may display your name, description, captions and recorded website domains and page paths. The recording itself may reveal sensitive information even when it is excluded from accompanying website details. Link previews may show your name, description, and a thumbnail. Messaging and preview services may fetch and cache this public information.

You can block other accounts and manage your choices in your account settings. A block prevents the two accounts from viewing each other's shared videos when the viewer is signed in, across devices using those accounts. We do not send a block notification. Blocking does not make a Public video Private: public links remain available to people viewing without an identified account. Unblocking does not remove a block set by the other person.

Changes to privacy settings, deactivation and deletion take effect after the service receives and accepts them. Offline changes may be delayed. We cannot recall media already delivered, exported files, screenshots or third-party caches. Existing links may work again when public access is restored or a content or account restriction is lifted, subject to privacy, screening and other access requirements. Links revoked by deletion or at your request are not automatically restored.

Making a video Private does not delete its cloud copies or withdraw permission for account processing. Use the deletion and account controls below to remove content or stop new transfers.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure accounts; sync browser information, recordings and edits; store, process and deliver videos; generate captions; apply privacy, sharing and blocking choices; diagnose problems; prevent and investigate abuse; respond to support and privacy requests; enforce our Terms; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information for money or use it to target advertising.

We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you for advertising. We will provide notice and obtain consent for new uses where required by applicable law.

When we disclose information

Service providers. We disclose information to companies that provide account authentication, cloud storage, video processing and delivery, playback analytics, website hosting and related technical services. They receive information needed to perform those functions, as described below.

At your direction. We deliver content to people and services you choose through sharing, exports and other actions. Independent websites and destinations handle the information they receive under their own policies.

Legal and safety matters. We may disclose relevant information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, or protect someone's rights, safety or security. We assess requests and limit disclosures to the information appropriate to the request and applicable law.

Business transactions. Information may be disclosed under confidentiality protections and transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable law. We will give notice when required.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections and government access rules may differ. We remain responsible for safeguards required of us by applicable law.

Service providers

Account and cloud services. These providers handle account authentication, databases, cloud storage and backend services. They process account information, synced browser records, recordings and edits, blocking preferences and associated records.

Video services. Our video processing provider handles video preparation and delivery, thumbnails, AI-generated captions, visual safety screening and playback analytics. It receives uploaded media and related processing and playback information, including for videos marked Private. Its standard terms prohibit its third-party AI vendors from using customer content or generated output to train or improve AI models. Those terms separately permit the video processing provider to train or improve its own models using data that contains no personal information or has been anonymized. Processing may involve retention after a request is completed, subject to the applicable agreements and retention policies.

Hosting and device services. Hosting providers receive the technical information needed to deliver our website and video player. Sign-in providers handle authentication under their own policies. The app also uses services supplied by the device platform.

Playback measurement, logs and cookies

We use a video analytics provider to measure playback performance, including startup time, buffering, errors, playback duration and resolution. It receives video identifiers, connection details and information about your player, app, browser and device. It uses IP addresses to derive approximate location and network information. This playback measurement does not collect precise GPS location. We use these records to diagnose playback problems and improve delivery, not to target advertising.

Playback analytics exclude your email, display name, transcript, browsing history, recorded website addresses and shared-link access credentials. Playback identifiers may allow us to associate these records with an account. This measurement covers videos delivered through our hosted service, not local-only playback. Uploading and processing a video may produce separate service logs even if it is never viewed.

Our hosted player disables cookies used by its video analytics service and honors Do Not Track for playback measurement. The Raden landing page and legal pages do not use advertising or analytics scripts. Account, hosting and backend providers may keep operational and security logs, which can include the URL of a requested video link. Independent websites you visit may use their own cookies and storage.

The app also stores diagnostic records on your device that are not automatically uploaded. We receive them if you choose to send them to support.

Retention, deletion and security

We retain account information, synced browser records, recordings and edits while needed to provide the service, honor your choices and meet the purposes described in this policy. This includes uploaded source media, saved edits, prepared playback versions, thumbnails and captions, even if a video has never been shared. Temporary uploads are scheduled for deletion when discarded or expired.

Deletions are reflected on your other signed-in devices when they reconnect and sync. We keep limited records of deleted items while the account exists to prevent them from reappearing during sync. Removal of stored recording files may be delayed while transfers finish. Blocking preferences remain until you unblock the account or an associated account is deleted, subject to any separate legal or safety records.

Deleted videos normally remain recoverable for 30 days unless you request permanent deletion sooner. Once the service accepts deletion, public access ends and existing links are revoked. Owners may continue to view recoverable videos, subject to account access and safety restrictions. After the recovery period expires, videos become eligible for permanent removal. When we accept a permanent deletion request, recovery ends and cloud files are scheduled for removal after a 24-hour waiting period. Incomplete transfers, processing delays or failed requests may delay file removal.

Deactivating an account blocks access while retaining its information for reactivation. Once we accept an account deletion request, we block access and begin removing the account and its content. Removal may take time if uploads are still in progress or a provider request fails. We retry failed requests; confirmation that deletion has been requested does not mean every stored copy has already been removed.

Logging out or deactivating leaves the account's local browser library, recordings and edits on your device for a later login, separate from other Raden accounts. Completing account deletion also removes that account's local data from the device used to make the request. Copies may remain on other devices until those devices receive the deletion or their local data is removed. Account deletion includes account-synced browser records and recordings; it does not erase unrelated guest browser data, independent website sessions or storage, exported files or copies held by recipients. Uninstalling the app does not delete the cloud account.

Backups, security records, support correspondence, abuse evidence and records needed for legal claims or obligations may remain longer, limited to their purpose and applicable retention requirements. A legal hold may delay deletion of relevant records. Such retained records are not used to restore ordinary public access to a deleted video.

We use encryption in transit, authentication and access controls to protect information. Synced browser information and recordings are not end-to-end encrypted: Raden and its providers process them to provide the service. No system is completely secure. Protect your device and sign-in accounts and report suspected unauthorized access to support@radenapp.com.

Your controls

You can browse, record and save locally without signing in. Video exports, cloud sync and hosted sharing require an account and authorization for the video processing described in this policy. You can change video and profile privacy in the app and manage camera, microphone, photo library and any requested location permission in your device settings. Permission changes can affect the related feature.

Logging out stops new sync, video uploads and AI processing requests from that device. Withdrawal of processing permission may remain pending until the service receives the request, and work already accepted by a provider may finish. Other signed-in devices remain active, and existing online videos and links remain subject to their privacy settings.

You can deactivate or delete your account through the app's account settings, or delete individual videos from your library. If you withdraw permission for cloud processing, you must authorize it again before new processing requests resume. Changing privacy settings or hiding captions does not stop uploads or delete cloud copies.

Privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct or delete it, restrict certain uses, withdraw consent, opt out of covered sales, sharing or profiling, or appeal a denied request. California residents may have additional rights relating to sensitive information and authorized agents where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. The app's video export feature is separate from these rights and does not limit them.

To make a privacy request or appeal, email support@radenapp.com. Describe what you need and provide the account email if relevant. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents should provide evidence of authorization.

We handle privacy requests and appeals in accordance with applicable law, including any required response deadlines and explanations. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.

Age requirements and policy changes

Raden is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to Raden, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will update the published policy's date when it changes and provide additional notice of material changes when required. New features or a change of purpose may require updated disclosures and permission. Adding a feature will not automatically make existing Private videos public.
